Pizza / Pasta Chef – Family-Run Italian Takeaway
We are a busy and growing family-run Italian takeaway looking for an experienced Pizza / Pasta Chef to join our team.
The business is getting busier, and we are looking for someone reliable who wants to become part of a small team and help us continue to grow.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience working with pizza and/or pasta is essential
- You must be confident and experienced in at least one of these areas
- If you are strong in pizza but have less pasta experience, we can train you on pasta – and vice versa
- Ability to work in a busy kitchen and maintain quality during busy periods
- Good organisation and cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a small team
- Someone who takes pride in the food they produce
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
The Role
You will be involved in preparing and cooking our pizzas and pasta dishes, helping with food preparation, keeping the kitchen organised and maintaining consistent food quality.
As we are a small family business, we are looking for someone who wants to do more than simply work a shift. We would like someone who can grow with the business, contribute ideas and help us maintain and improve our standards as we become busier.
Experience
Kitchen experience is required.
Applicants should have good experience in either:
- Pizza making / pizza chef work, or
- Pasta / Italian cooking
You do not need to be an expert in both, as training can be provided in the area where you have less experience.
Competitive pay depending on experience.
