Job Summary
Self employed exercise instructor with boxing & exercise to music skills required for September start at women’s only studio in central Kidderminster. Join our dynamic team as a Group Exercise Instructor and inspire participants to achieve their fitness goals through engaging, energetic, and well-structured classes. In this role, you will lead group workouts that promote health, wellness, and community spirit. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver diverse group exercise classes that cater to various skill levels and interests, including cardio, strength, flexibility, and specialty classes
- Demonstrate proper techniques and safety protocols to ensure participant safety during all activities
- Motivate and encourage participants to maximize their effort and enjoy the workout experience
- Monitor class participation and provide modifications or alternatives as needed for individual needs or limitations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming class environment at all times
- Stay informed about current fitness trends, anatomy knowledge, and best practices in exercise instruction
- Collaborate with facility staff to promote upcoming classes and special events to increase engagement
Qualifications
- Proven sports coaching experience or background in leading fitness or sports activities
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate instructions clearly and effectively
- Knowledge of human anatomy and exercise science principles to ensure safe practice and effective training
- Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for motivating others to lead healthy lifestyles
- Certification in group exercise instruction (preferred but not mandatory if relevant experience is demonstrated)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
