Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages efficiently
- Provide outstanding guest services, addressing any questions or concerns promptly
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar, lounge, and outdoor seating areas, including tables and service stations
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Assist in setting up events or special functions as required
- Manage guest feedback professionally to promote customer satisfaction
Experience
- Experience in bar and restaurant service is required
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Familiarity with upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and sales performance
