Job Title: Community Carers
Location: Southend-on-Sea
Hourly Rate: £13.65
We are looking for an enthusiastic individuals to join Southend Care as community carers, working with service users both at their homes and in the community. Flexibility will be important and you will be expected to work across different environments, as well as being expected to join team meetings as required. You will have your own workload assigned to you on the day and will work collaboratively with other professionals including things like handover and having an in team ‘buddy’.

Key Responsibilities:
- To be a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- By providing a short-term high quality Service in a community environment in accordance with current legislation, care standards and policies and processes.
- To provide support for customers in their own homes, and appropriate to the individual needs specified in their care plan and in accordance with current legislation, care standards and policies and processes.
- To work in a way that promotes the independence, privacy, dignity and choice for customers and to support their social, cultural and religious needs.
- Assistance with daily living activities such as personal care, companionship and housework.
