We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for customer service. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service while effectively promoting our products.
Duties
- Assist customers with their inquiries and provide knowledgeable product information.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products, employing upselling techniques where appropriate.
- Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising strategies.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to company policies.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring stock is replenished and displayed correctly.
- Handle customer complaints professionally, providing solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer calls and inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is highly desirable (multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply).
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in retail or sales is an advantage but not essential.
- A friendly demeanour with a genuine interest in helping customers find the right products.
