Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and attention to detail
- Use a variety of tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding to achieve desired results
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project specifications and deliver tailored decorating solutions
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper handling of paints and equipment to maintain a safe work environment
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas during and after projects to ensure efficient workflow
- Drive company vehicles as needed to transport materials and equipment between sites
Skills
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating techniques
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, team members, and suppliers
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications accurately
- Valid driving license with reliable transportation for site visits
- Knowledge of safety standards related to painting materials and construction sites
- Fluency in English for clear communication on-site and in documentation
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving
