Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our childcare team from September 2026. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children within a nurturing and stimulating environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about early childhood education to utilise their skills and expertise in a dynamic setting. The role involves working closely with children, families, and colleagues to promote positive learning experiences and ensure high standards of care are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate age-appropriate activities that support children's developmental stages.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that encourages curiosity and learning.
- Support children's emotional, social, and physical development through personalised care routines.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and any concerns in line with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in care and educational approaches across the setting.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's progress and any relevant issues.
- Lead by example in demonstrating best practices in childcare, management, and leadership within the team.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and early years frameworks.
Skills
- Extensive experience working with children, particularly within preschools or early years environments.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and child development theories.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to organise activities efficiently whilst maintaining a nurturing approach.
- Competence in managing behavioural challenges with patience and professionalism.
