Sales Floor Manager – Energy Services Ltd
Location: Plymouth House, Blackpool
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm
Salary: £26,000–£30,000 + performance bonuses
Start Date: Immediate
Energy Services Ltd is expanding and we are looking for a confident, organised and driven Sales Floor Manager to oversee a team of 10 staff. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, can lead from the front, and maintain high standards across a busy sales floor.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the daily running of the sales team, ensuring performance, discipline, deal quality and staff motivation remain consistently high. You will act as the first point of contact for staff and support the Director by managing day‑to‑day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a team of closers and lead generators
- Maintain structure, discipline and professionalism on the sales floor
- Check deals for accuracy, compliance and quality
- Deliver training and coaching to new starters and existing staff
- Handle minor HR issues including lateness, conduct and performance
- Motivate the team and drive daily targets
- Provide daily performance reports to the Director
- Ensure all staff follow company processes and industry standards
- Support staff development and identify training needs
- Resolve disputes quickly and professionally
Essential Requirements
- Must have broker experience (energy brokerage or similar sales brokerage)
- Proven experience in sales management, team leadership or floor management
- Strong communication and people‑management skills
- Confident decision‑maker with the ability to enforce standards
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to stay calm, firm and professional under pressure
- Motivational, proactive and able to run a busy team effectively
