Job Summary
Due to continued growth and expansion in the renewables sector, CVC Systems is looking for a Project Manager.
With 30 years of experience and expertise, CVC Systems is one of the UK's leading designers, suppliers and installers of residential MVHR systems.
We are looking for an experienced project manager, or a mechanical or electrical engineer looking to move into project management. The ideal candidate will have come from a site background or hold a degree in project management or building services.
The role is office-based with regular site visits. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple live projects through to completion, liaising with clients and internal departments, and supporting the design team and installation teams. Full technical product training will be provided.
Duties
- Overseeing multiple live projects at any one time and managing them through to completion
- Planning labour, materials, access and programme requirements
- Coordinating and managing site teams, installers and subcontractors, and helping the team grow
- Liaising with clients, main contractors, suppliers and CVC staff
- Attending site meetings and progress meetings
- Maintaining a set standard of installation and ensuring everything is installed as per plan
- Monitoring programme, quality, health and safety, and commercial performance
- Ensuring all project milestones are met
- Identifying and resolving issues before they become bigger problems
- Supporting project handovers, variations and close-out
- Updating the company CRM system
- Supporting the wider team in winning new business and contributing to tenders
- Helping bring structure and consistency as the business continues to grow
Experience
- Have an interest in renewable technology
- Come from a similar role, or have substantial on-site experience within MVHR, building services, mechanical or electrical installation
- Come from a mechanical or electrical engineering background, either through university or experience
- Have experience managing multiple projects or contracts at the same time
- Have experience managing on-site installations and working with subcontractors
- Have a good technical understanding of ventilation and building services systems
- Have strong client-facing skills and excellent written and verbal communication
- Have commercial awareness and the ability to manage programme, cost and quality
- Have strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise their own workload independently
- Have high attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
- Work well in a team and take a flexible approach to working hours and responsibilities
- Hold a valid CSCS card (SSSTS certification desirable)
- Hold a full UK driving licence

Schedule
Monday to Friday, 38.5 hours
Pay: £36,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
