Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Waiting Staff to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment.The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food handling, drink service ideally barista trained , and safety practices. As a member of our waiting staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience. Applicants will need to be aged 18 or over due to the sale of alcoholic drinks and be available throughout the Christmas period.
Duties
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell food and beverage items to enhance the dining experience.
- Prepare own drinks including hot,cold & alcoholic
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage cash handling responsibilities.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Must be available throughout the Christmas period.
