About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Care Supervisor to join our domiciliary care team. This is a predominantly office-based role, working closely with the Deputy Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the service while maintaining high standards of care and compliance.
The successful candidate will support with care coordination, staff supervision, client assessments, care plan reviews, quality assurance, and CQC compliance, while providing guidance and support to our care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Deputy Manager with the day-to-day operation of the service.
- Carry out client assessments and care plan reviews.
- Conduct spot checks, competency assessments and staff supervisions.
- Monitor the quality of care and ensure compliance with CQC standards.
- Support with care staff scheduling and cover where required.
- Liaise with clients, relatives and healthcare professionals.
- Investigate incidents, complaints and safeguarding concerns when required.
- Assist with staff recruitment, induction and training.
- Support audits and quality improvement activities.
- Provide leadership, guidance and day-to-day support to care staff.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (essential).
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Senior Care Assistant/Senior Carer within domiciliary care.
- Good understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards and person-centred care.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Confident using computers and care management systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
