The Oaks are looking for an individual who takes pride in providing excellent customer services skills to fulfil the exciting role as a Barista/Supervisor. Your role will be to ensure the restaurant is run with maximum efficiency and profitability by adapting capacity to demand and utilising existing resources as efficiently as possible. You will also be responsible for managing the customer relationship, ensuring that customers have great confidence in the restaurant through the provision of excellent service. Working as a team to a high standard and in compliance with Health and Safety and Food Safety Regulations. Competent using a barista machine and bringing a friendly and fun atmosphere.
Skill Set:
- Previous supervisory experience
- Oversee the daily running of the restaurant, prioritising workload to meet customer needs, ensuring a steady flow of work through the restaurant.
- Serve employees and visitors utilising the restaurant throughout the day, deliver refreshments and buffets around the building, operate the till.
- Maintain good cleaning standards within the kitchen, seating areas and storerooms, completing relevant records to always ensure compliance.
- Attend team meetings, manage stock and deliveries as instructed and required.
- Barista Trained.
- FOH experience.
Preferred qualification/ skills:
- Be educated to GCSE level (inc Math’s & English).
- Hold an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Be qualified to NVQ level1, 2 or above in food preparation and cooking.
- Be aware of Health and Safety regulations and HACCP.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to build and manage relationships.
