Duties
- Operate commercial laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and folding equipment with precision and care.
- Sort, load, and unload laundry items efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Inspect linens and fabrics for stains, tears, or damage; report or replace items as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by following sanitation standards and organizational procedures.
- Assist in folding, packaging, and storing clean linens for distribution across hotel departments.
- Follow proper handling procedures for delicate or special fabrics to prevent damage.
- Support inventory management by tracking linen supplies and notifying supervisors when stock levels are low.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and hygiene standards.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks.
