Kitchen Assistant (Full-Time / Part-Time)Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to support our busy kitchen team. This role involves helping prepare soups and main meals, assisting with general food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and working across multiple sections to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of:
- Soups
- Main meals
- Other menu items as required
- Carry out general food prep tasks (chopping, portioning, basic cooking prep)
- Support chefs and kitchen team across different sections as needed
- Ensure the kitchen is kept clean, tidy, and organised at all times
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures
- Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment as required
- Assist with stock rotation, storage, and deliveries
- Help with opening and closing kitchen duties
Skills & Experience
- Previous kitchen or catering experience is beneficial but not essential
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Good understanding of food hygiene practices (or willingness to learn)
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
