Mt Client are a lean, international supply operation moving high-volume branded consumer goods - toiletries, household, food & grocery, health & beauty - across the UK, Europe, and select global markets. They sit between supplier and distribution channel, and we move quickly. Small team. Full oversight. No unnecessary noise.
This is a newly created role for someone with a genuine trader mentality, reporting directly into the Managing Director. As our Senior Global Sourcing Manager, you will own supplier relationships - building and managing a portfolio of active accounts across global markets, producing pre-sold offers for the sales team, and staying ahead of the market before it moves.
The role is global in scope. Primary focus is UK and EU, with sourcing extending internationally where the right opportunities exist.

What you’ll be doing
→ Sourcing traded FMCG stock with pace and precision across global markets
→ Working with and advising the Managing Director on buying and sourcing investment floor stock
→ Managing warm supplier accounts, as well as a large focus on prospecting new business. → Analysing pricing, VAT, and margins across multiple markets and channels
→ Working hand-in-hand with the sales team to close pre-sold deals
→ Attending international trade shows and conducting market visits globally
→ Operating with full autonomy on standard buys; escalating large floor stock decisions
→ International travel: supplier visits, trade shows, and market trips are a core part of the role
What we’re looking for
→ 7–10 years in FMCG, wholesale, or global trading, buying or sourcing side
→ Fast, decisive, and commercially sharp, not desk-bound or slow-moving
→ Strong knowledge of buying groups and cross-border trade mechanics
→ Excellent interpersonal skills; you build relationships via phone, WhatsApp, trade shows, and face-to-face visits
→ Comfortable using AI tools and genuinely embraces them as part of how you work
→ Entrepreneurial mindset; you spot opportunities and act on them without being prompted → High levels of discretion and professionalism at all times
→ This would suit someone who is looking for their next step up to a senior-level role.
→ This role won’t be suitable for someone from a structured corporate environment. It will suit someone who enjoys autonomy, moves quickly, and takes ownership of outcomes.
The package
→ £50,000–£60,000 base salary DOE
→ Uncapped commission on deals closed by the sales team from your sourced stock
→ OTE up to £80,000–£90,000
→ 4 days Winchester office / 1 day remote (ideally)
→ International travel included and expensed
→ A clear path to Sourcing Director as the team grows
Pay: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
