Title: Product Manager

Hours: Full Time, 39.5 hrs per week
Location: Hybrid / Remote, with 3 days per week in the office
Role Purpose:
The Product Manager is responsible for identifying, shaping and validating product opportunities within the Commercial / Enterprise revenue stream, ensuring investment is focused on initiatives that deliver measurable value for clients, end users and the business. Working closely with Commercial, Marketing, UX, Delivery and Technology teams, they lead product discovery, define the problem to be solved, clarify desired outcomes and support prioritisation decisions that balance customer value, commercial impact and strategic fit.
The role partners closely with the Technical Product Owner to ensure opportunities are clearly understood, effectively shaped and translated into delivery-ready solutions. The Product Manager leads on the problem, value, outcomes, success measures and prioritisation. The Technical Product Owner leads on feasibility, technical shaping, backlog detail and delivery readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the early-stage product thinking for the Commercial / Enterprise revenue stream by turning commercial, client and stakeholder requests into clear product opportunities, expected outcomes and measurable success criteria.
- Lead discovery and validation activities to understand customer needs, business value, market demand, risks, assumptions and constraints before opportunities move into delivery.
- Identify opportunities to evolve client-specific requirements into scalable product capabilities that support long-term business growth.
- Develop, maintain and communicate a prioritised opportunity roadmap, ensuring a clear rationale for investment and progression decisions.
- Make prioritisation recommendations by balancing revenue potential, customer and client value, effort, risk and strategic fit.
- Define outcome-focused product requirements and recommendations that give Delivery and Technology teams clear context on the problem, intended value and success criteria.
- Define and track success measures for product opportunities, using data, customer insight and commercial performance indicators to assess whether delivered outcomes have achieved the intended value.
- Partner with the Technical Product Owner and Technology teams to shape feasible, scalable and deliverable solutions.
- Act as the product point of contact for Commercial stakeholders, helping translate client, partner and revenue opportunities into clear product options, trade-offs and recommendations.
- Build alignment across Commercial, Marketing, UX, Delivery and Technology teams, facilitating informed decision-making and shared understanding of priorities.
- Communicate product recommendations, trade-offs, progress and outcomes clearly to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Contribute to the development of product-led ways of working, helping embed product thinking across the organisation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant information security, data protection, energy management and business continuity standards, including ISO 27001:2022, BS 10012:2017, ISO 50001:2018 and ISO 22301:2019.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven Product Management experience in commercially driven B2B, B2B2C, SaaS, platform, marketplace, loyalty or partnerships environments, with a track record of shaping opportunities that balance client value, end-user needs and commercial outcomes.
- Strong product discovery, problem-framing and prioritisation skills, with the ability to test assumptions, evaluate trade-offs and recommend where product investment should be focused.
- Confident using data, customer insight and commercial performance indicators to inform product decisions, validate opportunities and assess delivered outcomes.
- Demonstrable prioritisation and roadmap management experience.
- Experience defining product success measures and using performance data to evaluate whether delivered initiatives have achieved the intended customer, client and commercial outcomes.
- Ability to balance client-specific requirements with scalable product outcomes.
- Experience working closely with software engineering and technical teams.
- Good understanding of platforms, APIs, integrations and technical dependencies.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and bring structure to complex problems.
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Huddersfield (West Yorkshire)
