HGV Technician – Knighton
Salary: Up to £38,897 per year
Hours: Rotating shifts, Monday – Friday (42.5 hours paid per week after 30-min unpaid break):
- Week 1 & 2: 08:00 – 17:00
- Week 3: 12:00 – 22:00
Hourly Rate: £17.60 per hour (based on 42.5 paid hours per week)
OTE: £42,000 – £43,000+ per year (including 3 hours overtime per week at 1.5x)

Overview
We're looking for an HGV Technician to join the team in Knighton on a rotating shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers
- Diagnose and rectify all types of faults
- Liaise with parts department to attain parts
- Complete job cards and service sheets in a timely manner
- Ensure Health & Safety regulations are adhered to
What You'll Need
- Excellent customer service skills
- HGV and PSV licence (desirable but not essential)
- Technical qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ) or proven experience
- Experience in commercial vehicle workshop
