About the Role
Talleres MCA Engineering Services is looking for an Engineering Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee engineering projects from initial planning through completion. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget while coordinating technical teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage engineering projects from start to completion.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, milestones, and resource plans.
- Coordinate engineers, technicians, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, costs, quality, and deadlines.
- Review technical specifications, drawings, plans, and project requirements.
- Identify project risks, technical issues, and potential delays and develop appropriate solutions.
- Manage procurement, suppliers, contractors, and project resources.
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, and technical documentation.
- Ensure engineering projects comply with relevant UK health, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead project meetings and communicate progress to management and stakeholders.
- Monitor changes in project scope and manage variations where required.
- Support testing, commissioning, installation, and project handover activities.
- Ensure projects meet agreed technical, financial, and performance objectives.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in engineering project management or a similar technical management role.
- Degree, HNC, HND, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and project delivery.
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, suppliers, and technical teams.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Knowledge of UK engineering standards, health and safety requirements, and industry regulations is desirable.
- Professional engineering or project management certification is an advantage.
Pay: £3,300.00 per month
