Receptionist
Located in the centre of historic Windsor, Charsley Harrison LLP is a well-established commercial and private client firm. We are looking for a full time Receptionist to oversee the day to day coordination of the Reception function.
Duties (Including but not limited to the following):
- Reporting to the HR and Office Manager - hours from 8:45am to 5:20pm, Monday to Friday.
- Answering the switchboard in an efficient and professional manner, within a target of 3 rings. Transferring calls, taking messages, and directing enquiries appropriately.
- Convey a polite, professional and efficient impression to all visitors.
- Being aware of security and safety aspects of the building and its occupants, and of handling personal data.
- Taking and relaying all messages accurately and promptly to all members of staff.
- Meeting and greeting clients and ensuring all names are logged and recorded in the visitor’s book on reception and notifying the appropriate member of staff.
- Assisting with maintaining the telephone extension list and ensuring all appropriate staff are provided with an up to date copy.
- Assisting with the distribution of incoming faxes, particularly those marked urgent, and notification to relevant person.
- Assisting with meeting room bookings and making tea and coffee, when required.
- Being responsible for general tidiness and housekeeping within the reception area and meeting rooms.
- Errands to shops, bank, post-office and DX.
- Faxing, filing, photocopying, scanning and any other office duties as required.
- Franking mail.
Skills / Attributes:
- A welcoming and professional approach.
- Experience in dealing with clients.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Excellent communication skills, able to talk to a variety of people politely and confidently face-to-face and over the telephone.
- Experienced in use of Microsoft Office.
- Well-presented with professional attitude.
- Well organised.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Extensive reception experience.
- Ability to remain calm and poised under pressure.
- Experience of working within the legal industry and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the areas of law of the services we offer is preferred, but not essential.

Pay: £25,000.00-£25,500.00 per year
