The Assistant Team Leader: Audit, Returns and Subcontracting will play an important role within the Funding and Data Services Team, supporting the college to ensure our data is accurate and valid, and that our data returns are submitted in a timely manner, supported by evidence that is audit-ready.
We are looking to appoint a proactive, highly organised and enthusiastic person, who has experience of working with student records and has knowledge of how post-16 education funding works, but it shouldn’t be a barrier to applying if you are highly numerate, enjoy working under pressure to deadlines and have meticulous levels of accuracy and attention to detail when working with data and supporting evidence. You should have strong IT and literacy skills, be positive and friendly, and have confidence in your communication skills to work with colleagues at all levels.
At Preston College our vision is ‘to transform lives through education’, and we take great prid in supporting all of our students to achieve the qualifications they need, alongside the development of technical skills and knowledge that employers and universities are looking for.
We are rated Good by Ofsted and have been recognised as making a ‘strong’ contribution to skills. We are ambitious in seeking excellent outcomes for our students, communities, employers and staff.
