We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced clinician to join the Division of Dentistry as a Clinical Lecturer in Paediatric Dentistry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide teaching on the postgraduate programme in the field of Paediatric Dentistry and contribute to an established, active teaching programme in Paediatric Dentistry.
You will be responsible for:

Contribute to teaching and learning in Paediatric Dentistry on the post-graduate and Clinical PhD programme.

Contribute to teaching in the BDS and BSc programmes.

Contribute to the examination, assessment and review of students’ performance and progression, both internally and externally.

Teaching and clinical supervision in the field of Paediatric Dentistry within a clinical setting.

About You
We are looking for a clinician with experience in Paediatric Dentistry and a commitment to academic teaching. You should demonstrate:
Essential Criteria:
- Dental degree (BDS or equivalent)

Registered with the GDC (or be eligible for temporary registration)

Evidence of clinical experience in Paediatric Dentistry at a level appropriate for post

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills evidenced by previous collaborative work in either teaching and/or research
Desirable Criteria:
- Teaching qualification (PG Cert/Dip, FHEA etc)

Higher degree (MSc, PhD or equivalent) in a relevant subject

Registered or Eligible to be on the specialist list for Paediatric Dentistry or within 6 months of eligibility for inclusion
