We are looking for a hard-working, reliable and passionate Cattery & Shop Assistant to join our team. We are looking for a full-time employee, although part-time will be considered for the right person. Reliable transport is essential due to our rural location.
We are recruiting as some of our regular volunteers are having to reduce the number of days they are able to volunteer, so we are looking for additional support within the team.
The role is split between our cattery and charity shop, with flexibility required to work across 7 days, including bank holidays.
Cattery duties include:
- Caring for cats and maintaining their welfare.
- Cleaning litter trays, bowls and pens.
- Deep cleaning pens.
- Completing basic paperwork and computer tasks.
Shop duties include:
- Serving customers and operating the till.
- Handling cash and shop keys.
- Sorting and pricing donations.
- Keeping the shop clean and welcoming.
This is a hands-on, physical role requiring someone who is reliable, flexible, comfortable around cats and passionate about animal welfare.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
