We are looking for a Pharmacy Assistant to join our Pharmacy team.
You will need:
- A desire to learn and progress in the Pharmacy field
- Effective communication skills - patients and team colleagues
- Maintain clean, tidy, safe and efficient working environment
- To work under pressure and to work within deadlines
Education / Skills
- You would need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- You would need to have a genuine concern for patients and be able to provide outstanding care for our customers.
- You need to be able work accurately and methodically and pay attention to detail.
- You must have excellent customer service skills and IT skills.
Responsibilities
- Taking in and handing out prescriptions
- Ordering items and unloading deliveries
- Selling over the counter medicines
- Responding to queries and referring to the pharmacist when needed
- Providing health or minor ailment advice
- Dispense prescriptions accurately, methodically and promptly
- Maintain dispensary stock levels
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
Experience:
- Pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)
