Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes, ensuring that gardens and green spaces are kept in pristine condition. Responsibilities
- Planting, pruning, watering, and fertilising plants, shrubs, and trees to promote healthy growth.
- Using hand tools such as secateurs, spades, and rakes to carry out gardening tasks efficiently.
- Operating power tools including lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, and leaf blowers to maintain landscaped areas.
- Conducting regular landscape maintenance activities such as mowing lawns, edging beds, and clearing debris.
- Monitoring plant health and identifying pests or diseases for timely intervention.
- Assisting with landscape design projects and planting schemes as required.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and garden management.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems used in gardening.
- Prior experience working within gardening or landscaping roles is desirable however training will be given.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions whilst maintaining attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A genuine interest in gardening and landscape aesthetics is essential.
