Job summary
To carry out all preparation and finishing of bespoke joinery items to a high standard. Preparing joinery for delivery by packing and wrapping items and delivering items to customers.
This is an active role based within our workshop.
Main duties and responsibilities
ü To prepare surfaces and apply paint, stain or other finishes as instructed to joinery products.
ü The packaging and wrapping of joinery products for despatch.
ü To monitor paint and associated painting supplies and advise the Factory Manager when stock needs replenishing.
ü Loading and unloading of materials and storing tidily and safely within the factory.
ü To comply with responsibilities as stated in the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
ü To comply with the Company’s policies, procedures and instructions.
ü To contribute towards improving the business, protecting and enhancing the reputation of the Company, by putting forward new ideas, and when requested to do so, implementing change.
ü Occasional deliveries of joinery to customers, ensuring that the joinery is delivered with care and attention.
ü Other general duties as required in order to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
Good basic Education
Full uk Driving Licence
Good Communicator
Physically fit
Hand Painting to a high level
Pay: £13.25-£13.50 per hour
