We are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to join our growing business.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Sage 50 and good experience in day-to-day account management, bookkeeping, payroll, financial reporting, and business finance administration. Experience working with an online retail or e-commerce business would be an advantage.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounts using Sage 50
- Process sales invoices, purchase invoices, payments, and receipts
- Complete bank reconciliations and supplier account reconciliations
- Manage payroll and payroll records
- Prepare payroll information, payslips, PAYE, NI, pension, and related submissions
- Prepare monthly reports and support management accounts
- Monitor costs, margins, and business expenses
- Support VAT records and financial compliance
- Work closely with the management team to provide clear financial information
- Help improve accounting processes and internal controls
Requirements:
- Strong working knowledge of Sage 50
- Experience with payroll processing
- Previous experience in accounts, bookkeeping, or finance administration
- Good understanding of business accounts and financial reporting
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good Excel skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience with online business, Amazon, Wayfair, eBay, or e-commerce platforms would be beneficial
