Duties
- Engage with customers post-sale to address inquiries, provide updates, and ensure their satisfaction with services received
- Promote and upsell additional products, warranties, or service packages that meet customer needs and enhance their ownership experience
- Assist customers with scheduling service appointments, explaining repair procedures, and coordinating vehicle drop-offs and pickups
- Handle cash transactions accurately during payments for services or parts, maintaining precise records
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service history, and sales activities to support ongoing relationship management
- Collaborate with technicians and parts departments to ensure timely delivery of services and parts to meet customer expectations
- Provide expert mechanical knowledge to explain repairs, maintenance options, or technical issues clearly and confidently
Experience
- Proven experience in customer service within the automotive or retail industry is highly desirable
- Strong mechanical knowledge or familiarity with vehicle systems to communicate effectively with customers and technicians
- Demonstrated ability in upselling products or services to maximize revenue opportunities
- Experience handling cash transactions accurately and managing financial records confidently
- Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude that fosters trust and rapport with diverse customers
