Job Responsibilities:
The Care Support Worker’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide respectful, person-centered care, ensuring that residents are at the heart of care delivery, and their wishes and preferences are taken into consideration to enhance their wellbeing.
- To contribute to the efficient running of the service.
- Support residents to maintain their relationships and connections with the local community.
- Ensure care plans and other information about how to support residents are followed.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility support.
- Be responsible for informing the Senior Care Worker of any changes in the needs of residents.
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support.
- Provide appropriate support to meet individual needs, ensuring activities are accessible, enjoyable, and aligned with personal interests, while fostering social interaction and maintaining a positive and supportive environment.
- Administration of medication to residents and accurate record-keeping, in line with policy and procedure.
- Any other reasonable request that supports the needs of our residents and the needs of the organisation.
Successful applicants are required to undertake an enhanced DBS.
Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate will
- Hold an NVQ Level 2 or above in Health & Social Care or have experience in providing care to the elderly.
Pay: £13.52 per hour
