Purpose of the role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Recruitment Administrator to support our Soonas business in delivering an efficient and professional recruitment service. You will play a key role in coordinating the hiring process, back-office processing and ensuring a smooth experience for both candidates and clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, from advertising vacancies to issuing offer letters.
- Draft and post job adverts on relevant platforms and the company website.
- Manage applications, shortlist candidates, and arrange interviews.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and applicant tracking systems.
- Liaise with candidates, hiring managers, and external agencies.
- Prepare interview packs and support assessment days where required.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
- Assist with onboarding activities, including reference checks and right-to-work verification.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in recruitment administration or HR support (desirable).
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
- Systems processing and new system set up experience.
- Knowledge of UK employment law relating to recruitment (advantageous).
