Pink Pomelo Ltd provides location catering services to the film and television industry across Northern Ireland. We are looking to recruit a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Catering Assistant to join our Front of House team on an ongoing basis.
This is a flexible, part-time role with ongoing work throughout the year. As a location catering company, our work takes us to production unit bases and filming locations across Northern Ireland, with working hours varying to meet the needs of each production.
We’re looking to build a reliable team of freelance Catering Assistants who are available for film and TV productions throughout the year. Work is offered on a project-by-project basis with opportunities varying depending on production schedules.
Key responsibilities include:
● Setting up and maintaining beverage stations at unit base and on location.
● Assisting with breakfast and lunch service for cast and crew.
● Maintaining clean, organised and welcoming front of house service areas.
● Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of our location catering service.
● Providing a friendly, professional service to cast, crew and production
We’re looking for someone who is:
● Friendly, approachable and professional.
● Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
● Well presented with good attention to detail.
● Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
● Flexible with working hours, as production schedules vary. This may include early mornings, evening and night shifts, weekends and occasional split shifts.
Essential requirements:
● A full, valid driving licence and access to your own transport.
● The ability to travel to production unit bases and filming locations across Northern Ireland.
Preferred:
● Previous experience in catering, hospitality or customer service is preferred.
