Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in various environments, including commercial and residential properties.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete plumbing tasks effectively.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify faults or potential issues.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or repair projects.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex plumbing problems.
- Assist with assembly of plumbing fixtures and related components.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a qualified plumber with relevant certifications or licences.
- Proficiency in welding, use of hand tools, power tools, and basic carpentry skills.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations.
- Experience with commercial driving is advantageous but not essential.
- Knowledge of assembly processes related to plumbing fixtures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
