Duties
- Design and deliver tailored English lessons that align with each student’s goals and skill levels
- Use interactive teaching methods to enhance speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust lesson plans to ensure continuous growth
- Foster a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere that builds students’ confidence in using English
- Incorporate educational resources and technology to make lessons engaging and effective
- Communicate clearly with students and parents about progress, challenges, and next steps
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, and student achievements
Skills
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English to diverse age groups
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
- Experience working with children or in special education settings is highly desirable
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
- Passion for helping students succeed and a positive, energetic attitude
- Excellent organizational skills to manage lesson planning and progress tracking
- Knowledge of educational technology tools that enhance remote or in-person instruction
Pay: £25.00-£35.00 per hour
