GMP Recruitment are proud to partner with a well-established and growing specialist manufacturer based in Evesham. We are recruiting on their behalf for a Masker/Prepper to join their team on a full-time Temp to Perm basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual to join a busy production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing components for spraying and powder coating processes, ensuring all products meet the highest quality standards before and after treatment.
Working Schedule
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 2:00pm
- 40 hours per week
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive pay rate of £13.25 per hour.
Masker/Prepper Main Duties:
- Masking components prior to spraying and powder coating processes.
- Removing masking materials following treatment.
- Preparing products and components for coating operations.
- Cleaning, sanding and preparing surfaces to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Inspecting components before and after treatment to ensure quality standards are met.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of production lines.
- Identifying and reporting any defects or quality concerns.
- Following production schedules and work instructions.
- Handling components carefully to prevent damage during the preparation process.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
- Supporting other departments as required to meet production demands.
Masker/Prepper Experience Needed:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment. (Essential)
- Experience within a spraying, powder coating, paint shop or surface treatment environment. (Desirable)
- Experience masking and preparing components for finishing processes. (Desirable)
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality. (Essential)
- Ability to follow instructions and work accurately. (Essential)
- Good manual dexterity and practical skills. (Essential)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. (Essential)
- Strong work ethic with a positive and reliable attitude. (Essential)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. (Essential)
