Duties
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and high-quality culinary output
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Oversee food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper storage practices to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
- Train team members in food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and hospitality service standards
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate serving times and enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain a positive work environment by providing leadership, motivation, and constructive feedback to team members
Skills
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced culinary or restaurant setting
