Assistant Manager – Little Dessert Shop
Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Manager, you will:
Successfully run the store and lead a team of creative individuals.
Motivate and manage staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
Effectively address and resolve customer complaints and queries.
Maintain stock levels, order inventory, and ensure the store is appropriately staffed.
Cash up and reconcile tills, manage the float, and ensure adequate change for the trading period.
Develop staff rotas and ensure compliance with Hygiene, Health, and Safety regulations.
Uphold brand standards and follow operational guidelines.
Handle general upkeep and maintenance of the store.
Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you should have:
Right to live and work in the UK.
Experience in a restaurant/retail environment such as restaurant, bar, coffee shop (Strongly Recommended)
GCSE in English and Maths (A-D).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Ability to use your initiative to manage staff performance and handle various issues.
Flexibility for long hours, evening, weekend, and bank holiday shifts.
Willingness to travel for cover or training at other sites and attend meetings.
A qualification in hospitality is advantageous but not essential.
