Role Purpose
Lead the strategic transformation of a global pharmaceutical ingredients and technology business, establishing the future business and technology landscape before selecting and overseeing the implementation of a new global ERP platform.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the overall Enterprise Transformation Programme.
Conduct a global discovery phase to assess current business processes, systems, data and operating model across 50+ manufacturing sites.
Define the future business operating model and enterprise technology strategy.
Develop the business case and transformation roadmap.
Lead the evaluation and selection of the most appropriate ERP solution.
Manage the RFI/RFP process, vendor assessments and executive recommendations.
Select and appoint the implementation System Integrator (SI).
Establish programme governance, controls and quality assurance.
Provide independent oversight of the SI throughout implementation.
Manage programme risks, budget, milestones and executive reporting.
Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across business and technology functions globally.
Experience
Proven experience leading large-scale global business transformation programmes.
Extensive ERP strategy, selection and implementation governance experience.
Strong background within manufacturing, life sciences, pharmaceutical or regulated industries.
Experience managing Tier 1 ERP programmes (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or Infor).
Excellent executive stakeholder management and commercial leadership skills.
