An exciting opportunity has arisen to work through Hunt4Employment for one of our clients. We are seeking reliable and experienced van drivers to join our team. As a van driver, you will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of goods to our clients across the UK. This role involves lifting and requires early starts and long hours, so a strong work ethic and punctuality are essential. Please note, this is not a multi-drop position.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Full UK Driving License (max 6 points, no serious convictions)
- Minimum 2 years of professional van/multi-drop driving experience
- Good spoken English and polite communication skills
- Able to handle heavy or bulky items safely
- Punctual, reliable, and self-sufficient
- Comfortable using GPS, mobile apps, and handheld POD devices
- Confirmation of manual handling experience or training
- Health declaration – fit for driving and lifting duties
Preferred:
- Familiarity with B2B and B2C customer service expectations
- Previous work with tail lifts and secure strapping
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain the company van
- Ensure timely delivery of goods across the UK
- Handle heavy lifting as required
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies
- Maintain accurate delivery records
