Video Editor | Part Time
A hands-on editing role for someone serious about making content that actually performs, inside a growing content agency.
3VSN is a social media and content agency working with ambitious brands across the automotive, food and hospitality industries. We specialise in short-form content built to grow accounts, drive attention and turn views into customers — our work has generated over 500M views for the brands we work with.
We are looking for a Video Editor who understands short-form properly: pacing, retention, sound design, and what makes a viewer stay past the first two seconds. This role is suited to someone who values ownership, standards, and learning through execution.
You will be editing real client content from day one and expected to take responsibility for the quality of what goes out.
The Role
You will handle the day-to-day editing across our client accounts, cutting short-form content for TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts.
A large amount of our content is skit-based and viral-style, so a genuine understanding of British humour is essential — you need to know why a joke lands and how to cut it so it does.
This is not a passive, brief-following role. You will be trusted with responsibility and expected to think proactively about what makes a video work, not just assemble clips.
Key Responsibilities
- Editing short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
- Cutting skits, viral-style formats and punchy brand content
- Sound design, captions, text animation and pacing to maximise retention
- Working to brand guidelines across multiple client accounts
- Managing deadlines and delivering consistent volume each week
- Reviewing performance and adapting edit style based on what performs
- Contributing ideas and formats, not just executing briefs
- Maintaining organised project files and clean asset management
This Role Is Best Suited To Someone Who
- Has strong short-form editing ability — pacing, sound design, captions, retention
- Understands British humour and viral content formats
- Is confident in CapCut, Premiere Pro or After Effects
- Communicates clearly and takes feedback well
- Is self-motivated and comfortable working independently from home
- Thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment
- Has an interest in automotive or food content (preferred but not essential)
- Wants to grow with a company rather than remain static
Previous experience in an agency, freelance editing or content production is helpful but not essential. Ability, reliability and ownership matter more than background — your portfolio speaks louder than your CV.
