Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Self employed CLASS 1/ ARCTIC/ LOW LOADER/ TIPPER TRAILER Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries across designated routes. This role requires a professional attitude, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate various types of vehicles, including Low loader. The position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, supporting our operational needs with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. This will be Full time ongoing work with over-time available if interested
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Deliver goods to clients promptly while maintaining accurate delivery documentation.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with clients, Transport manager and other drivers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during routes.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle throughout shifts.
- Follow all health and safety procedures to minimise risks during transportation activities.
Qualifications
- Proven minimum 2 years experience
- Valid driving licence suitable for the vehicle type, including valid CPC
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is advantage
- Must have at least 2 years Low loader experience
- Strong communication skills
- Prior understanding loading/unloading procedures.
Pay: £200.00 per day
