Profile Operatives / CNC Cutters – Rotherham (S65)
Pay: £14.00 – £15.50 per hour
PS Limited are currently recruiting Profile Operatives / CNC Cutters to join a well-established manufacturing business in the Rotherham (S65) area. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CNC or profiling operatives looking for stable work, competitive pay and long-term career progression.
Hours: These are rotating shifts
- Days - Monday – Thursday: 06:00 – 14:00 &Friday: 06:00 – 12:30
- Afternoons - Monday – Thursday: 13:00 – 21:00 & Friday: 12:00 – 18:30
- Nights - Monday – Thursday: 20:30 – 06:00 & Friday: 18:00 – 03:00
Key Responsibilities
- Picking computer-generated orders, including repetitive handling and lifting of large or heavy items
- Accurately recording stock movements, product identification, and measurements
- Operating profile cutting machinery including laser, plasma, and drilling equipment
- Using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality
- Moving stock to designated locations using forklift trucks and cranes
- Supporting production and dispatch to ensure customer orders are completed on time
- Working effectively both independently and as part of a team
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience operating profiling machinery or similar CNC equipment
- Experience with CNC profile cutting (plasma, gas or laser)
- Strong attention to detail and a results-driven approach
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- A flexible attitude and strong team working skills
Experience operating cranes, forklifts, or side-loaders would be advantageous, but is not essential.
