General Builder
Full-Time | Permanent | PAYE | Monday–Friday | 8am–4pm | South Wales
Lattuca Invest is looking for experienced General Builders to join our growing in-house refurbishment and maintenance team.
We have a large and growing portfolio of residential properties across South Wales, providing our building team with a consistent pipeline of work throughout the year.
We're looking for experienced builders who can confidently carry out general building and refurbishment work to a good standard.
This is an ideal position for someone who wants stable PAYE employment, excellent working hours and a genuine work-life balance.
Turn up at 8am, do a good day's work, finish at 4pm and go home.
No finding your own customers. No spending evenings pricing jobs. No chasing invoices. We provide the work – you concentrate on getting the job done properly.
Working Hours & Employment
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am – 4:00pm
- No weekend work as standard

The Role
You'll work across residential properties throughout South Wales carrying out a mixture of general building, refurbishment and property improvement works.
Typical work can include:
- General building works
- Property refurbishments
- Brickwork and blockwork
- Stud walls and partitions
- Carpentry and timber work
- Plasterboarding
- Plastering and patch repairs
- Kitchen preparation and installation
- Bathroom preparation
- Tiling
- Flooring
- Basic plumbing
- Internal alterations
- Making good following other trades
- Rip-outs and strip-outs
- Property preparation
- Snagging and finishing
- General repairs and maintenance
You don't need to be a specialist in every single trade.
We're looking for a proper general builder who is comfortable turning their hand to different jobs and has the experience to work through problems and get things done.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a general builder is essential
- Good knowledge of residential building and refurbishment work
- Confident carrying out a range of general building tasks
- Good standard of workmanship
- Able to work independently
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual
- Good problem-solving ability
- Takes pride in finishing jobs properly
- Professional and respectful when working in occupied properties
- Full UK driving licence preferred
