Who are we looking for? We are currently looking for an experienced Power Coating Operative to join our Busy Wednesbury team (WS10).
The main focus of this role is to support the Operations team in the Powder Coating area.
The role will involve:
- Prepare metal components for coating (cleaning, masking, and hanging)
- Apply powder coating using spray equipment to a high standard
- Ensure consistent finish quality and thickness
- Operate and maintain powder coating equipment
- Monitor ovens and curing processes
- Conduct quality checks and rectify any defects
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Ensure all health and Safety rules and procedures are followed and encouraged
- Loading and unloading the line
Required skills
- Previous experience in powder coating or paint spraying (essential)
- Experience with different powder types and finishes (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
