We are looking for a reliable and experienced Groundworker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of tasks related to the preparation of land for construction projects, including and not limited to, excavation, tarmacking, laying foundations, kerbing and installing drainage systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the construction industry and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Use hand tools and power tools to construct and repair roads, buildings, and other structures.
- Dig trenches, lay pipes, and install drainage systems.
- Operate heavy machinery.
- Load and unload materials.
- Inspect work sites for safety hazards.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a clean work site.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.50-£25.00 per hour
