The Package
· £43,000 – £50,000 basic salary, depending on experience
· 40-hour working week, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

You'll join a well-established Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Mechanical and Heating provider with more than 30 years' industry experience and a team of over 200 people across the UK.
The business works with a strong portfolio of blue-chip clients across government, the NHS, education, offices and distribution, giving you the opportunity to work across a varied range of commercial environments.
The Role
This isn't a role where you'll be working on the same equipment day after day.
The position is approximately 80% Air Conditioning and 20% Refrigeration, giving you plenty of technical variety and the opportunity to broaden your experience.
You'll be responsible for everything from planned and reactive maintenance to fault finding, remedials, warranty work and breakdowns, working across a diverse portfolio of commercial systems.
Systems you'll work on include:
- VRV / VRF systems
- Split systems
- Close control systems
- CRAC units
- AHU package units
- Chillers
- Associated refrigeration equipment
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and servicing
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs and remedial works
- Undertaking warranty work and component replacements
- Responding to reactive breakdowns
- Working on a broad range of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Providing professional service and technical support to customers
- Completing accurate job reports and documentation
- Liaising with clients, site teams and the office to keep works running smoothly
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an engineer who is technically strong, customer-focused and comfortable working independently.
You'll need:
- F-Gas 2079 Category 1
- Previous experience servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial air conditioning systems
- Strong technical knowledge of VRV/VRF and split systems
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently while also being part of a wider engineering team
