Planet Warriors Kids Club is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Performing Arts Teacher to deliver a fun, engaging and inspiring weekly club for children aged 4–11 years.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a freelance performing arts professional to introduce children to drama, singing, musical theatre and performance skills in a supportive after-school and holiday club environment.
About the Role
- Plan and deliver weekly performing arts club to enhance our wraparound provision.
- Create engaging sessions suitable for children aged 4–11.
- Encourage confidence, creativity and self-expression.
- Manage behaviour positively and ensure all children feel included.
- Provide any equipment, music or resources required for sessions.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience teaching drama, singing, musical theatre or performing arts to children.
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Public Liability Insurance.
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- Reliable, professional and enthusiastic approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage a mixed-age group.
Desirable
- Experience delivering extracurricular clubs in schools or childcare settings.
- First Aid qualification.
