Social Housing Options supports landlords with possession proceedings, rent arrears, homelessness prevention and tenant rehousing.
We are looking for an experienced UK solicitor to carry out a practical review of our business.
The project will include:
- Reviewing our current business and case-management processes.
- Identifying any legal, regulatory or operational risks.
- Reviewing and improving our Terms and Conditions.
- Reviewing our Professional Indemnity Insurance and highlighting any gaps in cover.
- Advising us on how to reduce risk and operate the business more safely.
- Considering whether any part of our work could fall within reserved legal activities.
About you
You should have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Legal services regulation.
- Commercial contracts.
- Professional risk and compliance.
- Professional indemnity insurance.
- Housing or civil litigation.
You must be able to provide practical, commercially sensible advice rather than simply producing a lengthy legal report.
