Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in maintenance and electrical system, who are eager to contribute to a dynamic environment. Duties
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks across various machinery and hotel facilities
- Maintain a level of broader knowledge which enables you to handle minor problems in all fields of the department
- Attend to all types of repairs and maintenance work in the Hotel premises, including any new additions/extensions to the Hotel or any other properties maintained by the Hotel
- Repair and maintain guest room facilities, light facilities, furniture and equipment.
- Assist with the implementation of the hotel’s preventive maintenance system and repair log system
- Support the installation, repair, and replacement of faulty electrical equipments
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department
Skills
- Skilled in handy-man works, electrical work, and mechanical repairs
- Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety standards
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Customer service orientation with a professional attitude towards colleagues and clients
- Basic troubleshooting abilities combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving
