Ministry of Sound is looking for motivated and experienced supervisors to join our club team. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in hospitality, nightlife, bars, events or customer service who are ready to take the next step in their career.
Successful candidates will predominantly work as either Bar Supervisors or Floor Supervisors depending on experience and business requirements.
Please note this role requires working night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support teams during busy club nights and events.
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained throughout the venue.
- Support the management team with the day-to-day operation of the club.
- Resolve guest issues professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure venue policies, licensing requirements and health & safety procedures are followed.
- Monitor staff performance and provide support where needed.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
Bar Responsibilities
- Supervise bar teams and maintain service standards.
- Handle cash and ensure correct procedures are followed
- Support stock control, line checks and stock counts.
- Monitor wastage and ensure company procedures are followed.
Floor Responsibilities
- Supervise floor staff and maintain venue presentation standards.
- Monitor crowd flow and guest experience throughout the venue.
- Ensure cleanliness standards are maintained during events.
- Lead a team of bar backs and floor staff to maintain high standards across the venue
- Support the bar staff with stock
What We're Looking ForEssential
- Previous experience in hospitality, nightlife, events or customer-facing environments.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, organised and proactive approach to work.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and late-night shifts.
Desirable
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience.
- Experience working in bars, nightclubs, festivals or large-scale events.
- Personal Licence holder.
- First Aid qualification.
