We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable Cafe All-Rounder / Cook to join our team at our busy café located within the beautiful Basingstoke Canal Centre in Mytchett.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. We are seeking someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and quality food.
What you'll be doing:
- Serving customers and operating the till
- Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks
- Delivering food to customers
- Assisting with general café duties and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment
- Preparing and cooking menu items including breakfasts, burgers, paninis, sandwiches, and daily specials
- Supporting the kitchen and front-of-house team as required
What we're looking for:
- A positive and friendly attitude
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Previous café, catering, or cooking experience is desirable but not essential
- Availability to work weekends is essential
