Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PA/Carer to provide high-quality support to a young man with complex needs. The successful candidate will assist with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure the well-being of client. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living tasks such as personal care, mobility, complex equipment and medication management
- Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Support clients with domestic chores, meal preparation, and light housekeeping duties
- Provide emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns or changes in condition
- Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or errands as required
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
- Adhere to health and safety protocols, including infection control measures
Qualifications
- Valid driving licence with clean driving record
- Experience working in complex care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Good documentation skill for communication
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Excellent communication skills with a caring and respectful approach
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others
